The Neighborhood Concierge WGV St. Augustine website started out as a weekly email to neighbors in the World Golf Village area with fun events around the WGV and St. Augustine areas.  And now I want to expand it to bring our community even closer.  

Weekly Email – “WGV Fun News”
The requests to be on my email list has been growing with the help of neighbors sharing the fun news with their friends.  I needed to find a way to get the emails out in one blast, rather than resending many multiples of times since you can only email out about 50 names per email or it will be picked up as “spam”.  This website will help me do that and maybe add a few more fun things and helpful links.

Also, I wanted to help some of our WGV entrepreneurial neighbors get the word out – some have home party sales businesses offering products such as Silpada Jewelry or Tupperware or Pampered Chef to name a few.  There are also wonderful home services we can all use … a painter, power washer, window cleaner, house cleaner, pet sitter/walker, house sitter and other personal businesses such as car / home insurance, lawyer (wills, estate planner), real estate and more.   Neighbors, post it here at no cost.

Local Clubs and Organizations – Post It Here~Free
My weekly emails were more about providing a list of fun activities in the WGV~St. Augustine area that we can all enjoy.  But there are many clubs and organizations who could use some neighborly help, or for sports enthusiasts there are bike groups or running clubs and who knows?  But you’ll know if they post it here.  Neighbors, post it here at no cost.

 

Virtual Yard Sale
We have two excellent opportunities a year to clear out those closets and garages with the WGV Social Committee Spring and Fall garage sales.  Keep up with the WGV Social Committee activities at www.wgvsocial.com. They have done this for a few years now to great success!  It’s a great way to kick off the Spring and get out in the warm air and meet with our neighbors.  Sometimes during the year you may have items you are looking to sell for some quick cash or possibly are looking for an item.  I’ve added pages where you can easily post those needs.  It’s a quick fix until our big yard sale events!  Neighbors, post it here at no cost. Note:  All posts are monitored and are at the discretion of the website owner and will be removed if not in line with a neighborhood, family website.

As one of the original co-founders and editors of the World Golf Village Community News and now the weekly email “WGV Fun News”, I have enjoyed volunteering my time to this great community and will continue to do so.  I now want to step it up and provide additional services and information – if there are any large companies who would like to run a banner for a nominal fee on my website I’d be happy to discuss it.  Email me at carnicel@bellsouth.net.
