The 2026 Concerts in the Plaza series in St. Augustine runs on Thursday evenings from May 28 through September 3, 2026, featuring free live music from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución. 9/1 Orchids Society – September 1 – Bulbophyllum Species
Julien Baruch, Krull-Smith Orchids

Julien will talk to us about bulbophyllums, those unusual orchids with a hinged lip. He will discuss different species of these popular oddities, including an overview of the latest breeding traits of the different species. Julien has been growing orchids his whole life and interned at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens for The Million Orchid Project before moving to Apopka, Florida, to work at Krull-Smith Orchids.

9/4 First Friday Artwalk – First Friday of the month – 6-9pm

Browse the wide variety of creative artwork exhibited at St. Augustine’s fine art galleries at this festive monthly event. The website includes info about free parking and free shuttles for the First Friday Art Walk 6-9pm. Meter parking free after 5pm.

First Friday Art Walk – Trolley Service. The Old Town Trolley Tours provide free transportation during First Friday Art Walk from 6-9pm. Art Walk Shuttle Stickers are required to ride and can be picked up at participating galleries. The shuttles run every 20-30 minutes on a continuous loop. They may be boarded at any of the following stops: in front of Butterfield Garage and Art Box, the Lightner Museum, Aviles Street, as well as in front of Bold Art Gallery near Hypolita St.

9/4 The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is proud to host free first Friday monthly concerts. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The performance begins at 6 p.m. and is open to all, free of charge. Our Pin Up Paws annual campaign includes the publication of our signature calendar. In its 16th year, we invited the most stunning pets to compete for a spot in the 2027 “Center Stage” calendar contest. We will reveal the new calendar with its Broadway theme at our Pin Up Paws Gala at the beautiful Casa Monica Hotel on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Click here for more details. 10/17 Vilano Beach Main Street Fundraising Event – 2-10pm

Main Street Fundraising Event for 2026. October 17th 2-10pm The music fest will be held indoors at the Vilano Beach Hyatt. Live music, food, bevvies and no weather concerns! The music fest proceeds will benefit 2 charities this year: Vilano Strong (helping a neighbor/family lost everything in a fire) and Betty Griffin Center – October is not only breast cancer awareness month, but also domestic abuse month. Betty Griffin Center is dedicated to providing services of hope and healing for the survivors of domestic and sexual assault.
